Airlines Charging for Pets on Board Another Ripoff
These days when you bring a pet dog/cat on the plane the airline charges you as much as $100.00. Even though the small carrier will fit under the seat in front of you. This is another consumer ripoff. while airlines control how many pets in the main cabin I think the fee is another way they take advantage. A baby may ride on the lap of a parent for free. Bruce Williams was talking about this recently on his national radio show. Personally I think $200.00 roundtrip is a total ripoff. Some airlines like Southwest do not allow any pets on board except service animals. Also the airline controls how many pets may be on board in the cabin. On another note it is very dangerous for small kids to ride on the lap of a parent. In case of turbulence the child might get hurt.

Can you tell me what cost the airline has if you bring a toy dog on the plane in a tiny bag? You take up no more space than any other passenger. All airlines limit the number of pets in the cabins as well (which I can understand) Also first class passengers get charged as well. These are the best customers of the airlines.
