Don’t Get Hacked!

Many people envision their accounts getting hacked by a team of stealth computer hackers trying to egt their precious information, logins and passwords. The truth is that much of this information is obtained from users themselves, or through keylogger virus programs. One great mathod for hackers is sending you an email from a phony account that is made to look like its from Ebay, Paypal, citibank, Wells Fargo or any number of banking or finance companies. The emails are usually tellying you that you need to log into your account immediately or you will have your account frozen etc. The simple way to prevent problems is not to click on any of these logins directly from email. If you need to log into your account simply go to the site directly, not through any email links. This alone will save you plenty of trouble. I know somebody who had their Ebay login comprimised this week in a matter of minutes. Lucky for him that Ebay identified the hackers and locked his account for him due to unusual activity on his account.
